In addition to the recent news that Lisa will perform at 'Night Of The Proms' in Stockholm next March, she has now been added to the bill of 'Night Of The Proms' at the Atlas Arena in Lodz Poland on 12th March 2016.

This will be a welcome return for Lisa who last performed at the Night Of The Proms in the Autumn of 1998 in Belgium and The Netherlands.

'Night Of The Proms' is a music event where classical music meets pop with singers performing their hits accompanied by choir and the NOTP symphony orchestra Il Novecento conducted by Robert Groslot.

Other artists who will perform in Poland will be Simple Minds, Italian singer Zucchero, John Miles, Blue Cafe, Jennifer Pike, Il Novecento & Choir

Performing 'Good Morning Hearthache' at the Zermatt Unplugged Festival in Zurich

23/10/2015

Lisa performed at the Zermatt Unplugged Festival last night in Switzerland. As a special guest she was invited to perform with the Ronnie Scotts All Star band within the sumptuous setting of the famous Kaufleuten club in Zurich.

Lisa sang four songs in-front of a subdued, yet decadent crowd of diners who had forked out a hefty CHF 1,000 (approx GBP 650) per head for the very privilege to sit and listen to Lisa perform on stage with the Ronnie Scott's band for approximately 20 minutes.

To kick off the proceedings, she sang a couple of jazzy numbers which seemed to perfectly suit the opulent ambience with 'Don't Explain' and 'Good Morning Heartache' then gave the audience a couple of crowd-pleaser's with 'Live Together' and finished off with 'All Around The World'.

However it was Lisa’s second song of the night ‘Good Morning Heartache’ (originally sung by Billie Holiday) which was the ultimate stand out moment. It was a true delight to hear Lisa perform this song again. I have fond memories of hearing and seeing Lisa first perform this live on her very first tour more than 25 years ago and many fans from back in the early days will certainly remember it well. So it was a genuine pleasure to hear Lisa sing this live again. (Lisa was initially inspired by this track from her teenage years after first seeing Diana Ross playing Billie Holiday in the biopic movie Lady Sings the Blues).

Overall a magnificent evening in Zurich spent in exceptional company.

Lisa attended the 2015 BMI London Awards at London's Dorchester Hotel (Park Lane) this evening.

She performed with 10cc's Internationally-celebrated songwriter/artist, Graham Gouldman who was named this year's BMI Icon for his "unique and indelible influence on generations of music". He celebrated the honour with a duet with Lisa, performing 'I'm Not In Love' and 'Dreadlock Holiday'. This was the first time the pair have duetted and created a truly spine-tingling moment to celebrate Graham’s incredible and enduring career.

The invitation-only gala recognises the UK and European songwriters and publishers of the past year’s most-played BMI songs on American radio and television.
