We are immensely excited to announce the release of Blue Zone reissued album 'Big Thing' which is now available to purchase as a double CD deluxe edition for the very first time in the U.K. Many will be aware that way before Lisa conquered the world’s charts as a solo artist, she fronted the Rochdale trio "Blue Zone", alongside Ian Devaney and Andy Morris. Their sole album 'Big Thing' was eventually released in Europe, North America and Australia in November 1988 and in Japan in early 1989 however, the album was never released in the U.K. by which time, they had built up a devoted club following and scored a U.S chart hit with "Jackie". After much persuasion with the powers that be, we are extremely proud to be part of this project in making this sought-after album available for the very first time in the UK under the Edsel label. This remastered Deluxe Edition follows Edsel's acclaimed reissues of Lisa's Arista solo albums in 2014 and has been expanded to feature bonus tracks including the early singles 'Love Will Wait' and 'Finest Thing' rare B-sides and 12” mixes. It features a 24-page booklet, with never commercially seen before photos, memorabilia and lyrics together with brand new sleeve notes about the band. The Deluxe 2CD Edition is out today. UK clients can order via Amazon UK - Out Now For those outside of the UK in Europe can order from Amazon DE - available from 9th December For those in the U.S can order via Amazon.com - availabe from 25th November

Filming has begun on a new comedy drama film 'The More You Ignore Me' with a cast including Murder In Successville‘s Tom Davis.
The film is based on a novel of the same name by Jo Brand, which was published in 2009. It’s set in the 1980s, with a soundtrack including the songs of The Smiths, and the plot revolves around a child coping with her mother’s schizophrenia. A heart-warming universal comedy that focuses on the life of an unusual family in rural England; it addresses mental health issues and their impact on the family – in a very real, sometimes stark, but also funny and affirming way. The film’s director has said: “It’s not often you read scripts as unusual and as good as this one. Jo has used all her insight gained during her years as a psychiatric health worker to create a story that pulls no punches, but makes you laugh and leaves you with a wonderfully positive feeling at the end.” Filming of The More You Ignore Me has now begun in Blackpool, and the cast has just been announced. Sheridan Smith will star as Gina, a mother suffering from declining mental health, alongside Ella Hunt, Sally Phillips, Sheila Hancock, Ricky Tomlinson, *Lisa Stansfield, and TVO regular Tom Davis – fresh from roles in Free Fire, Prevenge and of course, Murder In Successville. Keith English is the director and Debbie Gray of Genesius Pictures, who collaborated with The Little Film Company on Northern Soul, is producing. UPDATE* January 2017- We can confirm that Lisa will not be involved in this film drama project
