After two weeks of airplay on the UK airwaves, we are pleased to announce that Lisa's new track 'Everything' from her forthcoming album Deeper is at No.1 on UK's Solar Radio Sweet Rhythm Chart as of 29th January.
Snowboy who has co-produced the new album with Ian Devaney said "I'm proud to see Lisa’s forthcoming single ‘Everything’ straight in at Number 1 in the Solar Radio Soul chart. It was only a couple of months ago that I’d programmed the (Electro) rhythm track and Ian added the bass and keys, and we said “Now what do we do with it?” and here we are!!! It's turned out to be a very strong first track and we wish it a long and healthy stay on our airwaves for many months to come!

The opening synth lines of Lisa Stansfield’s new single might be lifted straight from her 2001 recording “I’ve Got Something Better” (a staple in her live concerts), but the context is a bit different. The impassioned, smoky-voiced songstress is best known for relating love and romance over jazzy mid-tempo and ballad grooves, often with live rhythm elements intact. For the first taste of her new album, Deeper, however, she embraces a decidedly electronically crafted sound—albeit in the classic melodic style of her revered work. Utilizing a whispered and seductive tone for the verses and her fuller alto finesse for the chorus, she frolics through “Everything” with an understated sensuality, interplaying with the track’s cool percussive elements in a style that could hold equal appeal for her longtime fans and younger listeners not as attuned to her catalog at large.
