Over the next few weeks we will introduce you to a few carefully selected remixes listed on the brand new Complete Collection 1989-2003. There are so many sought-after and previously unreleased and unheard mixes on this package, it's hard to choose from. However, we have pulled out a previously unreleased remix of 'Time To Make You Mine' from the The Remix Anthology.
The original track was recorded for Lisa's 1991 album, Real Love and released in the UK in March 1992. There were remixes by Masters at Work (Little Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzales), Martin Glover and The Orb, as well as Ian Devaney with Andy Morris. The (Sunshine Mix) of 'Time To Make You Mine' is a jazzy reworking from Sunship aka Ceri Evans (ex Brand New Heavies) is now available for the first time and only on this incredible package. If you have not had a chance to purchase this special edition as yet, you can now listen to the complete remix right here. If you haven't already started your Christmas shopping, then here's some present ideas for you. The official Lisa merchandise online store, has some gorgeous limited edition T-shirts of the 2014 'Seven' tour. Also there is a 25 year (special edition) tour brochure which includes many unseen photos, tour footage, Lisa with some of her fans, in the studio, on the road and much much more. Lisa has no doubt been around the world a few times over these past 25 years or so, and it's probably starting to feel a little like that again for her as these past few weeks and months have been keeping her very busy. With a recent sell-out UK and European tour behind her that finished up in Latvia on 4th November, Lisa's feet have barely touched the ground. Straight after the Riga show in Latvia, Lisa was supposed to fly to Las Vegas to perform at the 'Soul Train Awards', however she had a last minute change of plans. An announcement on Thursday confirmed that Lisa accepted to perform at the Press Ball in Augsburg, Germany on Saturday 8th instead (in replacement of the Anastacia who was unable to attend due to illness). Lisa and her band flew back to Germany on Saturday with a midnight performance and a 1 hour set to a packed out audience of 2500 people. After a busy and successful year so far, we hope that Lisa will be able to take a much deserved rest as she is expected to go back into the studio soon to start recording her next album. Watch this space! In the meantime, take a look at the photos taken by Fred Schollhorn from Saturday evenings Pressball gala: So thats it folks, Lisa has just wrapped up her final performance of the European leg of her tour this evening in Riga, Latvia. Tomorrow, as the rest of the band fly back home to the UK, Lisa and Ian will head off to the U.S for a special live performance at the Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas this coming Friday. The show will be televised on Centric TV and shown at the end of November. We hope to bring some further exciting news for you all in the coming weeks. In the meantime, take a look at some fabulous photography from Edgar Cullman's at the Riga show earlier this evening. |
