Lisa and Ian attended the Gala night presentation of the eighth annual Southend-on-Sea Film Festival which is the largest film festival in Essex. The opening Gala showcased the world premiere of "London Heist" a powerful, fast-paced thriller starring Craig Fairbrass. This was the centrepiece of this prestigious black tie event, where Lisa and Ian joined alongside many other guests and celebrities on the red carpet.
The Southend on sea film festival was established by Paul Cotgrove who is the Festival Director and brother of multi-talented Snowboy (Lisa's long-time friend, percussionist and Co-producer) who can be seen standing behind Lisa and Ian in the below photo. We’re excited to inform you that Lisa will be heading the bill for Bristol Pride Day which is being held on Saturday, July 9th with shows planned across stages at Bristol Amphitheatre and Millennium Square.
Over 50 local and international acts are performing this year across 3 stages. Although not released in the U.K as a single the video was directed by Steve Lowe (Change) together with Jimmy Fletcher during Lisa's Affection tour in London. It became a massive hit in the U.S reaching #14 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #Number1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #Number2 on the Hot Dance Club Songs and reached #Number2 on the Dance/Urban Chart. |
